Volleyball Recap: Cloverdale Comes Up Short at Home Against Healdsburg

Cloverdale unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Healdsburg Greyhounds on Thursday. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Greyhounds apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

While Cloverdale ultimately came up short, they really made Healdsburg work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-22, 26-20, 25-22.

Cloverdale has already played their next contest (against Willits), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Healdsburg, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Acalanes on the 23rd.
