Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Friday. Lexington came out on top against Wayne by a score of 14-6. The victory continues a trend for Lexington in their matchups with Wayne: they've now won three in a row.

Lexington's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Wayne, they dropped their record down to 1-2 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Lexington will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Purcell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wayne, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Healdton at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th.
