Softball Recap: Temecula Prep Takes a Loss

Temecula Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the San Jacinto Valley Academy Wolves, falling 20-3. If the Patriots were looking for revenge after losing 13-0 to the Wolves when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Kori Dawson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Temecula Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for San Jacinto Valley Academy, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Temecula Prep will face off against Redlands Adventist Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. As for San Jacinto Valley Academy, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Hamilton at 3:30 p.m. on the 24th.
