Basketball Game Preview: Centerville Miners vs. Great Falls Central Catholic Mustangs

The Centerville Miners will square off against the Great Falls Central Catholic Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Saturday, Centerville was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 54-53 to Box Elder.

Meanwhile, Great Falls Central Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 22nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by Belt 67-5. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked 150th, while the Huskies are ranked 42nd).

Centerville's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Great Falls Central Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-12.

Everything came up roses for Centerville against Great Falls Central Catholic when the teams last played back in January, as the team secured a 54-16 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Centerville since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
