Preview: Ribault Trojans vs. Walton Braves

Ribault is on a 20-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Walton is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Ribault Trojans will take on the Walton Braves at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Ribault can now relate to. They fell 54-45 to the Tigers on Saturday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Ribault has scored all season.

Ribault's defeat came about despite a quality game from Caleb Williams, who scored 33 points.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 21-21 at halftime, Walton was not quite West Florida's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell to the Jaguars 57-51.

Despite the defeat, Walton had strong showings from Elijah Neenan, who scored 11 points along with two steals, and Santego Austin, who scored seven points along with two steals.

Ribault's defeat dropped their record down to 20-7. As for Walton, their loss dropped their record down to 20-6.
