Haskell waltzed into their matchup on Friday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Hulbert Riders. For the Haymakers, this counts as revenge for the 10-6 victory the Riders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2025.

Jacob Yocham was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and two RBI. Jake Faul was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Haskell was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .600. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive games.

Haskell's record now sits at 10-1. As for Hulbert, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Haskell will challenge Edison at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hulbert, they will host Porter at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
