Basketball Game Preview: Wabash Apaches vs. Eastern Comets

The Wabash Apaches will square off against the Eastern Comets at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Wabash is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against North Miami on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Apaches came up short against the Warriors, falling 77-54. While losing is never fun, the Apaches can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 352nd, while the Warriors are ranked 165th).

Wabash might have lost, but man, Bryleigh Boggs was a machine: she dropped a double-double with 37 points and 12 boards.

Meanwhile, Eastern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 40-14 to Clinton Prairie. The matchup marked the Comets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Eastern's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Wabash, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-19.
