Meadow Heights took a 14-run loss the last time they faced off against Dexter, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Panthers skirted past the Bearcats 11-10. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 15-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Meadow Heights' victory bumped their record up to 2-12. As for Dexter, they dropped their record down to 3-10 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Meadow Heights will face off against Grandview at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 19.57 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Dexter, they have already played their next match, a 17-10 win against Campbell on the 26th.
