Basketball Recap: Hughesville Comes Up Short

Hughesville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Mifflinburg Wildcats, falling 63-37. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 45-28 back in January.

Hughesville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Mifflinburg, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Hughesville will welcome Selinsgrove at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mifflinburg, they will head out to challenge Line Mountain at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Mifflinburg is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.
