Basketball Recap: Park Vista's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Park Vista fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Martin County on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took an 82-76 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Martin County Tigers. The defeat continues a trend for the Cobras in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.

Park Vista lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Solomon Leinbock, who went 8 for 18 en route to 22 points and five rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Leinbock a new career-high in assists (four). Tristen Etienne was another key player, going 7 of 11 on his way to 16 points along with five boards and three steals.

Park Vista's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-6. As for Martin County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-3.
