Football Game Preview: Valley Rams vs. Beauregard Hornets + How To Watch

The Valley Rams are taking a road trip to challenge the Beauregard Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Valley will be strutting in after a victory while Beauregard will be coming in after a defeat.

Valley had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 32-point drubbing they dealt Holtville on Friday. The Rams breezed past the Bulldogs to the tune of 46-14. That 32 point margin sets a new team best for the Rams this season.

It was another big night for Caden Foreman, who threw for 233 yards and five TDs while completing 75% of his passes. Those five passing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. A healthy portion of Foreman's aerial production (102 yards to be exact) went to Aaden Johnson, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Meanwhile, Beauregard came up short against Central of Clay County on Friday, falling 46-21. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 141st, while the Volunteers are ranked 38th).

Valley will have to contain Tae Foreman as he made an impact in Beauregard's last game. He rushed for 135 yards and one score.

Valley has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.2 points over those games. As for Beauregard, they dropped their record down to 2-6 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Everything came up roses for Valley against Beauregard in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 28-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
