Basketball Recap: Christchurch School Comes Up Short

Christchurch School lost against Fredericksburg Christian two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Christchurch School Seahorses took a hard 58-39 fall against the Fredericksburg Christian Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Seahorses can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 284th, while the Eagles are ranked 113th).

Fredericksburg Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Noah Caesar out in front who posted 17 points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Ja'Den McKoy, who went 6 for 15 on his way to 12 points.

Christchurch School has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for Fredericksburg Christian, they pushed their record up to 12-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Christchurch School wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 56-50 defeat against Grace Christian School on the 1st. As for Fredericksburg Christian, they are taking a road trip to take on Seton at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Fredericksburg Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 66.9 points per game this season.
