Providence fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Polytechnic on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 10-5 to the Panthers. Adrian Contreras put in work no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off eight hits.
