Softball Recap: Gallup Comes Up Short

Gallup was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 14-3 to the Farmington Scorpions. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Gallup's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Farmington, they now have a winning record of 3-2-1.

Coming up, Gallup will take on Rehoboth Christian at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Farmington, they will challenge West Las Vegas at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. Farmington is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5 runs per game this season.
