Basketball Recap: Trinity Prep Takes a Loss

Trinity Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by The Master's Academy Eagles 83-40. The Saints were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 58-27.

Trinity Prep's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Finn Davidescu, who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Taine Miller, who scored 11 points.

Trinity Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for The Master's Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Trinity Prep will challenge Cocoa Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Saints' defense better be ready for this one: the Minutemen have averaged an impressive 54.2 points per game this season. As for The Master's Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Evangelical Christian at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
