Softball Recap: Riverview Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Riverview won against Roosevelt on Tuesday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Pirates beat the Bears by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 11-3. Considering the Pirates have won 14 contests by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the third in a row for Riverview, bringing their record up to 24-6-1. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Roosevelt, they dropped their record down to 22-10 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Riverview didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 1-1 tie against Salem on the 27th. As for Roosevelt, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 14-4 defeat against Allen Park on the 30th.
