Softball Recap: Greenhill Comes Up Short

After flying high against Bishop Lynch last Tuesday, Greenhill came back down to earth. The Greenhill Hornets came up short against the Legacy Christian Academy Eagles on Friday, falling 12-1. The Hornets haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Greenhill's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Legacy Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greenhill will challenge Prince of Peace at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Legacy Christian Academy, they will take on John Paul II at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. John Paul II will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Legacy Christian Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
