Volleyball Game Preview: Alta Hawks vs. Clearfield Falcons

The Alta Hawks will venture away from home to face off against the Clearfield Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Alta came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Skyline, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Hawks in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Clearfield made easy work of Bonneville on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

While Clearfield might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Bonneville scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-20, 25-18.

Alta's loss dropped their record down to 14-14. As for Clearfield, they now have a winning record of 14-13.

Alta was able to grind out a solid win over Clearfield in their previous meeting back in September, winning 3-1. Will the Hawks repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
