Basketball Recap: Genesee Christian Takes a Loss

Genesee Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 50-32 to the Southfield Christian Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Soldiers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 625th, while the Eagles are ranked 105th).

Genesee Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Southfield Christian, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Genesee Christian will take on Everest Collegiate at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southfield Christian, they are taking a road trip to face off against Roeper at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
