Madera South is a perfect 8-0 against Hoover since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Stallions will head out to challenge the Patriots at 5:30 p.m. Madera South will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Madera South was able to grind out a solid victory over Roosevelt, taking the game 3-1.

The win didn't come easy: Roosevelt scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 19-25, 25-22, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Hoover had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on Fresno with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday.

While Hoover might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Fresno scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-22, 25-23.

Madera South's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-17. As for Hoover, their victory bumped their record up to 12-20.

Everything went Madera South's way against Hoover in their previous matchup back in April, as Madera South made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Stallions since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
