Softball Recap: Vardaman Takes a Loss

Vardaman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 9-4 to the West Union Eagles, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent defeat being a 9-4 loss on Wednesday.

Vardaman's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for West Union, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-8.

Vardaman has already played their next match, an 8-0 loss against Hatley on the 4th. As for West Union, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 15-0 victory against West Lowndes on the 4th.
