Volleyball Recap: Lexington Christian Wins Going Away Against Western Hills + How To Watch

Lexington Christian's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Western Hills Wolverines with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Wolverines: they've now won five in a row.

While Lexington Christian might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Western Hills scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 29-27, 25-19.

Lexington Christian found their leader in sophomore Sophia Gorshak, who had eight digs and four aces. Those four aces set a new season-high mark for Gorshak. Ava Hundley also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assists of the season.

Lexington Christian's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Western Hills, they dropped their record down to 7-7 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Lexington Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Bracken County on the 27th. Western Hills has also already played their next contest (against Spencer County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
