Basketball Game Preview: Lake Havasu Knights vs. Kellis Cougars

The Lake Havasu Knights will head out to face off against the Kellis Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Lake Havasu will head into Tuesday's match out to bounce back: they won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They were beaten by Ironwood 59-28.

Meanwhile, Kellis waltzed into their game on Tuesday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 79-58 victory. Given the Cougars' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 11th, while the Wildcats are ranked 100th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lake Havasu dropped their record down to 8-10 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Kellis, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-2 record this season.

Lake Havasu was dealt a bruising 91-16 loss at the hands of Kellis in their previous matchup back in January. Can Lake Havasu avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
