Baseball Recap: WestSide Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for WestSide's offense. They lost 8-0 to the Tug Valley Panthers on Wednesday. Surprisingly, this marked the Renegades' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

WestSide saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braxton Waldron, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. Waldron has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.

WestSide's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Tug Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-9 record this season.

WestSide will welcome Midland Trail at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Tug Valley, they will face off against Mingo Central at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
