Avery County won the last time they faced Mitchell and things went their way on Thursday too. The Vikings walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Mountaineers.

Hallie Johnson had an outrageously good game as she had 32 assists and 24 digs. That's the most digs she has posted since back in August. Kylie Holtsclaw was another key player, getting 17 digs.

Avery County was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.
