Basketball Recap: Rank Disadvantage No Problem for Totino-Grace

Totino-Grace won the last time they faced Houston and things went their way on Saturday too. The Totino-Grace Eagles walked away with a 67-57 win over the Houston Mustangs. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Eagles' disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 55th in Minnesota, while the Mustangs are ranked third in Tennessee).

Totino-Grace is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Houston, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-2.

Totino-Grace is taking a road trip to take on Cretin-Derham Hall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Totino-Grace's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Houston, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-54 win against St. Thomas More on the 28th.
