Basketball Recap: Wilde Lake Takes a Loss

Wilde Lake lost against Overlea back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wilde Lake Wildecats were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 66-65 to the Overlea Falcons. The loss was the Wildecats' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Wilde Lake fell to 2-1. As for Overlea, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wilde Lake will be home for the holidays to greet River Hill at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Overlea, they will welcome Mergenthaler Vo-Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
