Basketball Recap: New Knoxville Comes Up Short

New Knoxville and Ottoville squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but New Knoxville had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 67-29 loss at the hands of the Ottoville Big Green. While losing is never fun, the Rangers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 471st, while the Big Green are ranked 54th).

New Knoxville's defeat dropped their record down to 7-18. As for Ottoville, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 22-2.

As of now, neither New Knoxville nor Ottoville have any future games scheduled.
