Preview: The Grace Christian Academy Eagles vs. Centennial Knights
Having just played yesterday, The Grace Christian Academy Eagles will jump right back in to play the Centennial Knights at 9:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
On Thursday, The Grace Christian Academy lost to Woodward Academy on the road by a decisive 69-50 margin. While losing is never fun, The Grace Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 195th, while Woodward Academy is ranked 45th).
Meanwhile, Centennial's recent rough patch got a bit rougher last Thursday after their fourth straight loss. The matchup between Centennial and The Webb School wasn't particularly close, with Centennial falling 80-65. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
The Grace Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Centennial, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.
