Softball Game Preview: Weslaco East Wildcats vs. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North Raiders

For the second straight game, Weslaco East will face off against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North. The Wildcats will square off against the Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Weslaco East is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.

Weslaco East is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North a 1-0 shutout. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wildcats have posted since February 18th.

Not much got past Aubrey Zuniga, who gave up just four hits to keep Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North off the board.

On the hitting side, Alanah Bautista was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Angelica Herrera, who went 2-for-3 with one triple.
