Volleyball Recap: CHESS Christian's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

CHESS Christian came into Saturday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past the Temple Christian Tigers 3-0 on Saturday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-9, 25-9.

Esther Carter paced CHESS Christian's offense, picking up 11 kills. Carter got some help from Greta Miron and her 28 assists. Miron was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

CHESS Christian's victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Temple Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

CHESS Christian has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool on the 6th. As for Temple Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against East Dayton Christian on the 6th.
