Winners of seven-straight state championships and 10 in the last 11 years, Bixby begins at No. 1.

The high school football season in Oklahoma kicks off later this month and we have your look at the state's top teams. Defending state champion Bixby owns the No. 1 spot in the Preseason MaxPreps Top 25.

The Spartans went 11-2 last season while winning the Class 6A-I state championship, their 10th title in the last 11 seasons. Bixby has gone undefeated four times during that span and would love to make it five in 2025.

In addition to Bixby, defending state champions include Choctaw in 6A-II, Carl Albert (Midwest City) in 5A, Elgin in 4A, Lincoln Christian (Tulsa) in 3A, Davis in 2A-II, Washington in 2A-I, Tipton in C, Weleetka in B-II, Dewar in BI, Woodland (Fairfax) in A-II and Rejoice Christian (Owasso) in A-I.
