Baseball Recap: Aurora Christian Academy Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Aurora Christian Academy entered their tilt with Victory Road Christian Academy on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Minutemen 15-7. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 8-2 win on Tuesday.

Aurora Christian Academy got a massive performance out of Luke Sweeney, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those three RBI gave Sweeney a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Eraas, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

Aurora Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Victory Road Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Looking ahead, Aurora Christian Academy will take on Lebanon HomeSchool at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Victory Road Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
