Softball Game Preview: Tecumseh Braves vs. Apollo Eagles

The Tecumseh Braves are taking a road trip to square off against the Apollo Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tecumseh will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Tecumseh made up a huge gap compared to their last game against North Posey, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Braves were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Vikings on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Apollo suffered their closest loss since April 18, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of Hancock County by a score of 7-5.

Arianna Ramirez was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run. She also brought in an RBI, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Tyler Hall, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Apollo dropped their record down to 6-9 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Tecumseh, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Tecumseh took their victory against Apollo in their previous meeting back in April of 2023 by a conclusive 18-10 score. Do the Braves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
