Volleyball Recap: Edgerton Flying Dutchmen vs. Tracy-Milroy-Balaton Panthers

Edgerton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Tracy-Milroy-Balaton Panthers.

Edgerton actually scored more points across those five sets (107-104), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 24-26, 25-22, 15-25, 15-12.

Reese Vande Griend paced Edgerton's offense, picking up 33 kills. Vande Griend got some help from Kya Voge and her 41 assists. Finally, Vande Griend was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Edgerton's loss dropped their record down to 5-19-1. As for Tracy-Milroy-Balaton, their victory ended a six-match drought at home and bumped them up to 7-18.

As of now, neither Edgerton nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
