Meanwhile, Crowley County entered their tilt with Bishop Machebeuf on Friday with 14 consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with 15. They came out on top against the Buffaloes by a score of 52-41.

Simla's victory bumped their record up to 24-2. As for Crowley County, their win bumped their record up to 25-2.

Simla was able to grind out a solid victory over Crowley County when the teams last played back in December of 2024, winning 68-61. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Crowley County's Gunner Hughes, who dropped a double-double with 37 points and 13 rebounds.
