Baseball Recap: Moore Haven Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Moore Haven was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They came up short against the Marathon Dolphins, falling 14-2. The contest marked the Terriers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Moore Haven saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kenny Simmons, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Simmons is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

Moore Haven's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Marathon, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2-1.

Looking ahead, Moore Haven will be playing in front of their home fans against Pahokee at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Marathon, they are taking a road trip to challenge Fort Meade at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
