East Duplin entered their tilt with Southwest Onslow on Tuesday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They put the hurt on the Stallions with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 11th.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: East Duplin took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-13, 25-15.

East Duplin got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Karsyn Parker out in front who had 12 aces and four digs. Those 12 aces gave Parker a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Lilliana Houston, who had five aces.

They weren't the only good servers: East Duplin was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 22 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in eight consecutive matches.

East Duplin's record now sits at 16-2. As for Southwest Onslow, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-6 record this season.
