Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Tri-Township). They were the clear victors by  a  15-0 margin over the Bowman Academy Eagles on Wednesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Tigers considering their one-run performance the  match before.
 Donaven Witas was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  allowing only  one  hit while striking out ten over four innings pitched. Witas was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base.
 In other batting news,  Cody Vernich and  Lucas Kaiser did most of the damage at the plate:  Vernich  went 2-for-3 with three  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  RBI, while  Kaiser  went 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  RBI. That's the most  hits  Vernich has posted since back in May of 2024.  Dillon Stewart also deserves some recognition as  he  hit his first  double of the season.
The  victory  got Tri-Township back to even at 3-3. As for Bowman Academy,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-4.
 Looking ahead, Tri-Township is taking a road trip to  face off against Westville  at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Blackhawks have averaged an impressive 9.7  runs per game this season. As for Bowman Academy, they will challenge Hillcrest at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
