Basketball Recap: Henderson Takes a Loss

Henderson was the 29-26 winner over Pine Tree when they last played one another back in November of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Henderson Lions fell 50-42 to the Pine Tree Pirates on Friday.

Henderson has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Pine Tree, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4.

Henderson will be home for the holidays to greet Cumberland Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pine Tree, they will venture away from home to face off against Chapel Hill at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
