Basketball Preview: Spencerville Adventist Academy Hornets vs. Burke Bengals
Having just played yesterday, the Spencerville Adventist Academy Hornets will get right back to it and host the Burke Bengals at 5:00 p.m. on February 6th. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
On Monday, Spencerville Adventist Academy came up short against the Wolfpack and fell 55-42.
Ryan Reinhardt put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 15 points. It was the first time this season that he scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Nathan Thomas, who scored eight points.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Burke, who are still winless after their tenth matchup. They fell 49-36 to Field on Friday. Burke has struggled against the Falcons recently, as their game on Friday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Spencerville Adventist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Burke, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-10.
