Softball Recap: Whitney Comes Up Short

If Whitney was riding high fresh off their 13-3 takedown of Cabrillo last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Whitney Wildcats lost 14-0 to the Anaheim Colonists on Friday. The loss was the Wildcats' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Whitney fell to 2-1. As for Anaheim, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Looking ahead, Whitney will host Savanna at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. Whitney is facing Savanna at the right time seeing as Savanna is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Anaheim, they will welcome Brea Olinda at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Anaheim is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 12 runs per game this season.
