Football Game Preview: Corrigan-Camden Bulldogs vs. Hearne Eagles

Corrigan-Camden is on a four-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Hearne a five-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Corrigan-Camden Bulldogs will look to defend their home field against the Hearne Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Hearne took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Corrigan-Camden, who comes in off a win.

Corrigan-Camden barely beat Groveton the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bulldogs breezed past the Indians to the tune of 43-7 on Friday. The matchup marked the Bulldogs' most dominant victory of the season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Corrigan-Camden to victory, but perhaps none more so than William Ratliff, who rushed for 217 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.1 yards per carry, and also threw for 131 yards and a pair of TDs. Ratliff's longest rush was for an incredible 75 yards. Another rusher making a difference was Derrick Reagie, who rushed for 244 yards and one score while picking up 15.3 yards per carry.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Corrigan-Camden was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 596 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Hearne lost 35-14 to Centerville on Friday.

Hearne's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Corrigan-Camden, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
