Volleyball Recap: Lawrence County Red Devils vs. Chelsea Hornets
Lawrence County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Chelsea Hornets. The Red Devils were not able to make up for their defeat to the Hornets from their previous meeting back in August of 2019.
Despite the loss, Lawrence County still got an impressive performance from Reagan Smith, who had 15 digs and one assist.
Chelsea's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sophia Bagley, who had 13 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Bagley has posted over her last seven matchups. The team also got some help courtesy of Claire Casey, who had ten digs and two aces.
Lawrence County's loss dropped their record down to 20-22. As for Chelsea, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-14.
