Basketball Recap: Culpeper County Continues Road Dominance on Wednesday

The Culpeper County Blue Devils really took it to the Spotsylvania Knights for the full four quarters, racking up an 87-30 victory thanks in part to Robinson, who went 20 for 36 on her way to 50 points in addition to five assists and five steals. That makes it 12 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Culpeper County's points.

Another player making a difference was Kelley Hutcherson, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine assists. She is also on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last 11 games she's played.

Culpeper County pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.7 points per game. As for Spotsylvania, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Culpeper County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 76-70 defeat against James Monroe on the 23rd.
