Volleyball Game Preview: Madera Coyotes vs. Justin Garza Guardians

The Madera Coyotes will venture away from home to challenge the Justin Garza Guardians at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Madera has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 29.

On Thursday, Madera came up short against Edison and fell 3-1.

While Madera ultimately came up short, they really made Edison work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 26-24, 16-25, 25-19.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Justin Garza's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sanger West. While the Guardians didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Hornets 25-20 in the first set.

Justin Garza started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-21, 25-15, 27-25.

Madera's defeat dropped their record down to 18-22. As for Justin Garza, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 26-11.

Madera might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Justin Garza in their previous matchup on April 10th. Can the Coyotes avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
