Center Moriches has gone 9-1 against Southampton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Red Devils will square off against the Mariners at 4:00 p.m. Center Moriches' pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so Southampton's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Saturday, it was close, but Center Moriches sidestepped Babylon for a 4-2 victory.

Center Moriches saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was JT Bonventre, who went 1-for-4 with one home run. That home run marked the first that Bonventre has launched this season. Another was Brayden Hromada, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.

Meanwhile, Southampton can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They came out on top against Port Jefferson by a score of 6-3.

Daniel McDonnell made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 6.2 innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jackson Romanow, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Travis Kreymborg was another key player, earning two runs and two stolen bases.

Center Moriches' record is now 9-2. As for Southampton, their record now sits at 4-7.
