Marshfield was the 3-0 winner over Glendale when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bluejays took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons on Monday. The Bluejays' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Marshfield started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-20, 25-16, 25-20.

Quinn Aldridge paced Marshfield's offense, picking up 14 kills. Aldridge really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 17. She also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Tilly Greenfield, each putting up two.

Marshfield's defeat dropped their record down to 25-8-2. As for Glendale, with the victory, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 14-8-3.

Marshfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Logan-Rogersville on the 16th. As for Glendale, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Kickapoo on the 15th.
