Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Warrensburg-Latham). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Meridian Hawks a 20-0 shutout on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Cardinals, who have now won 12 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Warrensburg-Latham got a massive performance out of Brody Brown, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Those three hits gave Brown a new career-high. Trenton Bridges also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
