Volleyball Recap: Canton South Takes a Loss

Canton South lost against North Olmsted back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wildcats fell 2-0 to the Eagles.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-4.

Maddy Gordon paced Canton South's offense, picking up three kills. Gordon got some help from Ainsley Horning and her four assists.

Canton South dropped their record down to 2-10 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for North Olmsted, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-2.

Canton South didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Tuslaw on the 16th. As for North Olmsted, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Rocky River on the 16th.
